Greek flag carrier Aegean Airlines has commenced scheduled flights from the island of Santorini to IGA Istanbul Airport. To mark the inaugural flight, the aircraft was welcomed by the IGA Aviation Development Team and ground services staff. Flowers were presented to the cabin and cockpit crew, and commemorative photos were taken to celebrate the occasion.
Throughout the summer season, Aegean Airlines will operate two weekly flights on the Santorini–Istanbul route, with departures on Tuesdays and Fridays.
